We are seeking an Executive Director to lead a dynamic nonprofit organization powered by volunteers. Our Board of Directors is not only deeply engaged in governance but is also often active in volunteering in many of the programs and events. The successful candidate will partner closely with this committed group to strengthen systems, scale impact, and support our volunteers in delivering high-quality programs to the community. Required Qualifications

• 25 hours minimum per week required. Schedule is flexible as long as person is present for critical services like Food Pantry. Summer schedule may be adjusted to more hours to meet summer program needs.

• Transparent and high-integrity leadership.

• Ability to envision and convey the organization’s strategic future to the staff, board, volunteers, partner agencies and donors.

• Demonstrated ability to oversee and collaborate with staff.

• Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Strong public speaking ability.

• Strong work ethic with a high degree of energy.

• Become a resident of Inner City’s Service area within 6 months of hire, if not already a resident.

• Ability to create budgets and follow through with the necessary processes to keep the organization fiscally sound.
